Dood Eyewear Piaggio Fit-Out

A compact Piaggio Ape van transformed into a mobile retail experience for Dood Eyewear, designed to bring together sunglasses, coffee, and brand storytelling in one distinctive physical space. The project explored how a small vehicle could function as both a practical sales point and an eye-catching brand installation, with opening side panels, display areas, signage, and integrated service moments.

The design focused on making the most of a limited footprint while keeping the experience clean, flexible, and memorable. From product display and customer flow to material finishes and exterior presentation, the concept was developed to feel considered, modern, and true to the character of the brand.

A playful but functional project, the Piaggio Ape became a way to imagine retail as something more mobile, more social, and more unexpected.

We began the project with doing a Space & Style edit, to get a feel of what would be appropriate for the brand and van.

I then moved into designing the layout in plan and elevation view, which can be viewed below these images.
